Grandson of deceased couple being sought by officers
Apr 20, 2018Tuesday while law enforcement officials said they are seeking “a person of interest” in the deaths who they said is the grandson of the dead couple.McIntosh County Sheriff Detective Kevin Branscum on Tuesday said the dead couple were identified as Virgil Ingraham, 81, and Rowena Ingraham, 84, both of Oklahoma City. Their bodies were discovered on Tiger Mountain near Interstate 40 in northwestern McIntosh County a week ago, Branscum said in a press release.Law officers are seeking Harlon Lee Foss, 44, who is the grandson of the Ingrahams.“Harlon is a person of interest into this case and is needed for questioning,” Branscum said. As of Tuesday no arrest warrant had been issued for Foss, he said.“Harlon, who was recently released from prison, was residing in the OKC area at the time of this incident,” he said.The sheriff’s department, along with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, have been conducting an investigation into the deaths, Branscum said. “The two deceased bodies were identified by the Oklahoma Medical Examiners Office as two missing Oklahoma City residents,” he said. They were reported missing around the same time as the bodies were discovered, Branscum said.The cause of death is still under investigation, he said.Amy Elliott, chief administrative officer for the Oklahoma Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, said a full report from the examiner’s office should be released about 10 days after the conclusion of the investigation.Branscum earlier said officers were seeking the two deceased victims’ vehicle, which was identified as a 1998 silver Lincoln Town Car. The vehicle was located Tuesday and has been sent to OSBI for processing. He did not say where the vehicle was located.He said officers are seeking a second vehicle, which is believed to belong to Foss. Branscum said the car was identified as a white 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass with Oklahoma license plate number FOL977.“This case remains under investigation and anyone with information regarding this case is asked to contact the McIntosh County Sheriff’s Department,” he...
